  • Cook: 15–18 minutes

  • Total: ~30 minutes

🍽 Serves

3–4 people

πŸ›’ Ingredients

Base

  • 8 large eggs

  • 2 tbsp milk or cream

  • Β½ tsp salt

  • ΒΌ tsp black pepper

Filling

  • 1 can (150–180g) tuna in oil or water, drained

  • ΒΌ cup sliced green olives

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or dill

  • ΒΌ cup finely chopped onion (optional)

  • Β½ cup shredded cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, or mix)

Optional add-ins:

  • Cherry tomatoes (halved)

  • Crumbled feta

  • Chili flakes

πŸ”ͺ Step 1: Prepare the Basket

  1. Cut a sheet of parchment paper to fit inside your air fryer basket.

  2. Lightly spray or brush with oil.

  3. Press parchment into the basket so it forms a shallow bowl shape.

⚠ Make sure parchment doesn’t block air circulation completely.

πŸ₯š Step 2: Prepare the Egg Mixture

  1. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  2. Stir in tuna (break into flakes), olives, herbs, onion, and cheese.

  3. Mix gently to distribute evenly.

πŸ”₯ Step 3: Air Fry

  1. Preheat air fryer to 170Β°C (340Β°F).

  2. Pour mixture into parchment-lined basket.

  3. Cook for 15–18 minutes.

It’s done when:

  • Center is set (no liquid jiggle)

  • Top is lightly golden

  • Knife inserted comes out mostly clean

If needed, cook 2–3 minutes more.

🌟 Optional Golden Top

For extra browning:

  • Increase to 180Β°C (356Β°F) for the last 2–3 minutes.

🧈 Step 4: Rest & Serve

  1. Let rest 5 minutes before removing.

  2. Lift out using parchment edges.

  3. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

🍽 Serving Ideas

  • With toasted bread

  • Side salad

  • Yogurt garlic dip

  • Fresh tomatoes and cucumbers

πŸ’‘ Tips for Success

  • Don’t overfill β€” egg mixture rises while cooking.

  • If using water-packed tuna, drain very well to avoid excess moisture.

  • For thicker frittata, reduce milk slightly.

  • Smaller air fryers may need slightly longer cooking time.
