Mediterranean Ground Chicken Wrap with Hot Honey Feta Cream
Ingredients
For the Ground Chicken
500g ground chicken
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Hot Honey Feta Cream
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 clove garlic
For the Wrap
4 pita breads or flatbreads
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cucumber, diced
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
Directions
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add ground chicken, breaking it apart as it cooks.
Season with paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Cook until fully browned and slightly crispy.
In a blender or bowl, combine feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, honey, chili flakes, lemon juice, and garlic. Blend or mix until smooth and creamy.
Warm the pita or flatbreads.
Assemble wraps by adding ground chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
Drizzle generously with hot honey feta cream.
Fold and serve immediately.
