Crispy Air Fryer Smashed Potatoes
Ingredients
For the potatoes:

1½ lbs baby Yukon Gold or red potatoes

2–3 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)

½ tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp salt (or to taste)

½ tsp black pepper
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan (optional, for extra crispiness)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the creamy dipping sauce:

½ cup mayonnaise

1–2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to spice preference)

1 tsp lemon juice
-
½ tsp garlic powder
-
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1️⃣ Boil the Potatoes

Place whole potatoes in a pot and cover with salted water.

Bring to a boil and cook 15–20 minutes until fork-tender.

Drain and let them steam dry for 5–10 minutes.
2️⃣ Smash

Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Place potatoes in the air fryer basket (or on a lined tray).

Use the bottom of a glass to gently press each potato until flattened but still intact.
3️⃣ Season

Brush generously with olive oil.

Sprinkle with garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and Parmesan.
4️⃣ Air Fry

Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes until crispy and golden brown.

Flip halfway if needed for even crisping.
(Oven option: Bake at 425°F / 220°C for 25–30 minutes.)
5️⃣ Make the Sauce

Mix mayo, sriracha, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.

Adjust spice level to taste.
6️⃣ Serve

Sprinkle potatoes with fresh parsley.
